It also features vibration- and noise-reduction systems as well as environmentally friendly shipbuilding materials, providing passengers with a quieter and lower-carbon cruising experience. New energy cruises have become one of Yichang's signature tourist attractions. In the first half of 2026, cruise routes in the city welcomed more than 3 million passenger trips. By promoting the operation of new energy vessels, the Yangtze River's Three Gorges region is reducing carbon emissions from waterborne tourism and supporting the green transformation of the Yangtze shipping industry.
